Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and Jenkinsfiles.

• Create, provision, and oversee scalable AWS infrastructure through Terraform.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters along with Kafka messaging systems.

• Automate the deployment of infrastructure and applications using Python and Groovy.

• Work collaboratively with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance software delivery and infrastructure management.

• Monitor, optimize, and ensure the high availability and security of cloud and containerized environments.

• Apply best practices for infrastructure as code, security, and compliance.

• Mentor junior engineers while fostering a culture of DevOps and automation best practices.

• Assess and incorporate new tools and technologies to enhance automation, reliability, and scalability.

• Document processes, architectures, and solutions for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.

• Expert-level proficiency in Jenkins, Jenkinsfiles, and pipeline-as-code methodologies.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services and Terraform.

• Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed) and Kafka.

• Proficient in Python and Groovy scripting languages.

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration.

• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
