Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.

• Collaborate with a five-member R&D team to enhance CI/CD pipelines and decrease build times.

• Streamline deployment processes to facilitate seamless code deployment.

• Work alongside developers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Optimize configurations for Ruby/Rails environments.

• Enhance overall system reliability.

• Build, monitor, and optimize infrastructure to support, fine-tune, and query AI capabilities.

• Implement and manage logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions.

• Ensure high uptime and rapid incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.

• Experience with GCP is considered an advantage.

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Proficient in Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalent.

• Demonstrated experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Ruby on Rails applications.

• Knowledge of Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management.

• A solid understanding of modern software engineering principles is a plus.

• Experience in supporting AI/ML features is advantageous.

• A willingness to learn about AI/ML infrastructure is recognized as an opportunity.
