Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.

• Collaborate with a five-member R&D team to enhance CI/CD pipelines and minimize build durations.

• Enhance the code deployment methodology.

• Work alongside developers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Optimize configurations for Ruby/Rails environments.

• Boost the overall reliability of the system.

• Construct, monitor, and refine infrastructure to support emerging AI capabilities.

• Provide support for the operation, fine-tuning, and querying of AI systems.

• Implement and oversee logging, alerting, and monitoring tools.

• Ensure high uptime and swift incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) positions.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and managing cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with GCP is an advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Strong expertise in Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.

• Proven experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Ruby on Rails applications.

• Understanding of Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management concepts.

• A solid grasp of contemporary software engineering principles is a plus.

• Practical experience with AI/ML infrastructure is beneficial.

• Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, Milvus, or pgvector is a plus.

• Experience managing API integrations with major LLM providers is advantageous.

• Experience with local model deployments and GPU scaling is a plus.
