Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Moldova.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS/GCP.

• Collaborate with a 5-engineer R&D team to enhance CI/CD pipelines and minimize build durations.

• Facilitate seamless code deployment.

• Partner with the development team to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Optimize configurations for Ruby/Rails environments.

• Enhance overall system reliability.

• Construct, monitor, and refine infrastructure to support, fine-tune, and query AI capabilities.

• Implement and oversee logging, alerting, and monitoring tools.

• Ensure high uptime and prompt incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.

• Strong practical experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.

• Familiarity with GCP is an advantage.

• Extensive proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• In-depth knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalent.

• Proven track record in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Ruby on Rails applications.

• Understanding of Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management.

• A strong grasp of modern software engineering principles is advantageous.

• Experience in supporting AI/ML features is a plus.

• A willingness to learn about AI/ML infrastructure is highly regarded.
