Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS/GCP.

• Collaborate with a 5-engineer R&D team to enhance CI/CD pipelines and minimize build durations.

• Facilitate seamless code deployment.

• Partner with developers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Optimize configurations for Ruby/Rails environments.

• Enhance overall system reliability.

• Construct, monitor, and refine infrastructure for executing, fine-tuning, and querying AI functionalities.

• Establish and oversee logging, alerting, and monitoring tools.

• Maintain high uptime and ensure swift incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) positions.

• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services and managing cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with GCP is an advantage.

• Extensive knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Strong expertise in Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, ECS, or similar.

• Proven track record in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Ruby on Rails applications.

• Understanding of Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management.

• A solid grasp of modern software engineering principles is advantageous.

• Experience in supporting AI/ML functionalities is a plus.

• Willingness to learn about AI/ML infrastructure is recognized as an opportunity.
