Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS/GCP.

• Collaborate with a five-member R&D team to enhance CI/CD pipelines, decrease build times, and streamline code deployment.

• Work together with developers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks while optimizing Ruby/Rails environment settings.

• Enhance overall system reliability.

• Team up with developers to establish, monitor, and refine infrastructure for deploying, fine-tuning, and querying AI functionalities.

• Implement and oversee logging, alerting, and monitoring systems.

• Ensure high uptime and swift incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) positions.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with AWS services and management of cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with GCP is advantageous.

• Strong command of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Solid knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or similar.

• Proven track record in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Ruby on Rails applications.

• Understanding of Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management practices.

• A strong grasp of contemporary software engineering principles is a bonus.

• Experience in AI/ML infrastructure is a plus.

• Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, Milvus, or pgvector is a plus.

• Experience managing API integrations with prominent LLM providers is a plus.

• Experience with local model deployments and GPU scaling is a plus.
