Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.

• Collaborate with a five-engineer R&D team to enhance CI/CD pipelines and decrease build times.

• Ensure seamless code deployment.

• Work together with developers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Optimize configurations for Ruby/Rails environments.

• Enhance overall system reliability.

• Partner with developers to create, monitor, and optimize infrastructure for AI capabilities, including running, fine-tuning, and querying.

• Implement and oversee logging, alerting, and monitoring tools.

• Maintain high uptime and ensure prompt incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.

• Experience with GCP is an advantage.

• Extensive proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Strong expertise in Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or similar.

• Proven experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Ruby on Rails applications.

• Familiarity with Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management.

• A solid understanding of modern software engineering principles is a plus.

• Experience in supporting AI/ML features is a plus, including vector databases, major LLM provider API integrations, local model deployments, and GPU scaling.

• A willingness to learn about AI/ML infrastructure is encouraged.
