Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee, maintain, and enhance cloud-based application instances within Azure environments.

• Deploy and manage both web and desktop applications, including application delivery through Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

• Design, implement, and sustain integration workflows among SaaS platforms, VM-hosted applications, and third-party APIs.

• Monitor the health, performance, and usage of applications and infrastructure; proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges.

• Manage configurations for applications and infrastructure, including patching, updates, version control, and the enforcement of security/compliance standards.

• Implement automation for deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks following DevOps best practices.

• Assess and recommend tools, technologies, and process enhancements that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• 4-5 years of experience in cloud application administration and integration engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance and be willing to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

• Security+ certification is required but can be completed after hiring.

• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, and Azure Networking.

• Experience in managing and deploying both web and desktop applications in virtualized or cloud-hosted settings.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
