Senior Developer – OUTSYSTEMS

• Your responsibilities will encompass the entire software development lifecycle, from collecting requirements to supporting the final deployment of developed functionalities, all in line with agile development methodologies.

• Collaborate with the software architect to define the project architecture model and implement necessary changes throughout the software development lifecycle and its components.

• Mentor and assist the developers on the project development team.

• Write and integrate software components following the technical specifications, utilizing the designated software development tools, programming languages, and libraries for the project.

• Identify, create, and test developed components to ensure high quality.

• Conduct corrective and evolutionary maintenance of software components.

• Prepare technical documentation as per the contract requirements you are working under.

• Integrate the components you produce with those developed by other team members, using the designated integration tool for the project.

• Set up and configure the local development environment according to the project’s needs and requirements.

• Provide support to the client's IT team and end users regarding the features and specifics of the developed components, modules, and software packages, as needed.

• Conduct and execute integration testing in the client’s environment to ensure the software and its components function correctly.

• Oversee acceptance testing and the deployment of the software in the client’s environments as per the established contract.

• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to the client on the developed software to ensure proper system operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on software development or software engineering.

• Alternatively, a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 360 class hours in areas emphasizing software development or software engineering.

• Certification is not mandatory.

• Preferred experience: 6 years in roles involving activities related to the required technical knowledge.

• Familiarity with agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Ability to analyze functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Experience in relational data modeling.

• Application of agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Conduct analysis of functional and non-functional requirements, implement design patterns (enterprise integration patterns, design patterns, microservices patterns), and perform relational data modeling.

• Develop systems on the OutSystems platform, in any version.

• Create mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.

• Implement system integrations using a service layer.

• Employ best practices for application performance and security.

• Integrate User Experience (UX) and usability concepts in application development.

• Proficient in SQL.
