Senior Deep Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement essential deep-learning, computer vision, and (inverse-)procedural modeling algorithms utilizing Python.

• Leverage advanced research in machine learning and computer graphics to tackle real-world challenges.

• Collaborate closely with co-founders to grasp the overarching product vision and convert customer needs into technical objectives.

• Engage with remote systems through a Unix shell for code deployment and testing on extensive geospatial datasets.

• Utilize Git for source code management and break down complex implementation tasks into manageable, executable components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of pertinent industry experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing tech environment.

• Demonstrated experience as a Deep Learning Engineer or Applied Research Engineer in a fast-paced setting.

• Proficiency in Python, Git, and the Unix shell.

• Established experience in training and debugging artificial neural networks or similar expertise.

• Strong mathematical foundation encompassing linear algebra, statistics, probability, and numerical methods.

• Preferably, prior experience with modern C++ for interfacing with data ingestion and product pipelines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and work in close coordination with a founding team.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to achieve critical R&D milestones in an early-stage startup atmosphere.
