This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee, prioritize, and actively monitor assigned business opportunities for both current and upcoming quarters
• Ensure that sales agreements adhere to company policies, procedures, processes, and relevant government regulations
• Manage the approval process for sales transactions within the IFS Approval Request system
• Provide assistance and guidance to Sales regarding product configurations and pricing proposals
• Draft, review, and manage documentation necessary for sales transactions and approvals
• Support Sales in matters related to revenue recognition and contractual agreements
• Collaborate with Finance and Legal departments on sales transactions
• Analyze and interpret existing customer contractual documents
• Work in conjunction with Finance, Presales, Legal, Technology Alliances, Partner Managers, Product Managers, and global teams
• Engage with external clients and vendors on contract and business-related issues when required
• Uphold fiduciary responsibility to IFS
• Execute additional Deal Desk responsibilities and projects as assigned
• Proficiency in software licensing and contracting, including perpetual, subscription, hosting services, and SaaS models
• In-depth knowledge of Software & Maintenance revenue recognition criteria and regulations, including ASC 606 and IFRS 15
• Familiarity with ERP software portfolios and solutions; preference for IFS products or related ERP vendors, though not mandatory
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Contract Management, or Deal Desk
• Proficient PC skills with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and function independently
• Good presentation abilities and confidence in interacting with both internal and external customers
• Ability to act with tact and discretion
• Experience in managing confidential information
• Capability to identify business use cases from strategic to operational levels
• Skill in preparing accurate and concise materials
