This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• You will serve as a vital partner to the EMEA Sales Team, acting as a thought leader and subject matter expert on the essential elements required to finalize successful deals:
• Evaluating deal terms, risks, and potential opportunities.
• Offering guidance on pricing strategies, discounts, and contractual agreements.
• Ensuring that deals are organized in a manner that maximizes company value while minimizing risk.
• Overseeing the approval process for non-standard terms.
• Collaborating with Sales teams to establish general pricing guidelines, overall transaction qualifications, and reviewing quotes for accuracy on both complex and standard deals.
• Leading deal reviews to ensure that all non-standard commercial terms are evaluated, approved, and properly documented.
• Working alongside Legal to drive contracts to completion, maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies, while actively managing contract and execution risks.
• Collaborating closely with BizOps to identify and implement process improvements and automation, aimed at streamlining the deal management process and enhancing throughput.
• Managing daily ticket volume, providing appropriate guidance and escalating issues to the Head of Deal Desk when necessary.
• Contributing to the future direction of the team, including decisions regarding team tools, playbook, and structure.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a high-performing Deals Desk, Finance, or Sales Ops team within a high-growth, global tech company.
• A demonstrated history of enabling Sales teams to achieve measurable improvements in deal velocity and revenue growth.
• Strong analytical skills paired with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to build relationships and collaborate effectively to achieve results.
• Proficient in clearly and credibly explaining concepts across all organizational levels.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Skilled in thinking on your feet amidst uncertainty.
• Excellent at working independently, especially considering time zone differences with the rest of the team.
• Proven experience in leading and influencing individuals at various organizational levels.
