Senior Database Architect

📋 Description

• Designs, implements, and oversees the complete life cycle of intricate databases, encompassing Tables, Views, Stored procedures, indexes, functions, jobs, rules and roles, replications, and various other database elements.

• Comprehends and maintains the database's interaction with other mission-critical systems.

• Manages or develops databases concerning the operating system, access methods, and access times.

• Establishes or maintains database clustering.

• Creates, monitors, and resolves issues related to database replications.

• Provides advanced technical expertise in the utilization of database management systems.

• Defines file organization, indexing techniques, and security protocols for particular user applications.

• Conducts device allocation, validation checks, organization, and statistical methodologies.

• Maintains database dictionaries.

• Integrates systems through effective database design.

• Collaborates with Development and Engineering teams.

• Assesses and recommends available database management products and services.

• Adheres to database standards and plays a role in quality assurance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten (10) years of technical experience, including at least five years of specialized expertise.

• Substantial prior experience in supporting MS SQL Server 2016, 2019, or later versions.

• BA/BS degree in a Technical, Engineering, or Management field.

• A Master's Degree may be substituted with four (4) additional years of experience.

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD 'PUBLIC TRUST'; candidates must secure approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.

• Candidates possessing an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
