Senior Data Steward, Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee requests and documentation related to metadata.

• Serve as a business/governance analyst to document and manage topics related to data.

• Collaborate with data source owners and business partners to confirm documented data ownership.

• Adhere to established data governance policies and standards.

• Detect data issues and escalate them through the appropriate governance channels.

• Conduct profiling and establish basic data quality assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Data Governance, with a solid grasp of data management principles and practices.

• Knowledge of Data Engineering concepts, including data ingestion processes and tools, especially in Databricks.

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the capability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively.

• A mix of soft skills such as teamwork, adaptability, and conflict resolution.
