This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to assess and enhance the entire customer journey, encompassing acquisition, conversion, retention, and churn.
• Develop and sustain statistical models and analyses for metrics such as attribution, LTV, CAC, churn prediction, cohort analysis, and conversion optimization.
• Create, analyze, and interpret A/B and multivariate experiments across various marketing channels and on-site experiences.
• Convert vague business inquiries into well-defined analytical projects with specific success metrics and deadlines.
• Work alongside data engineering and analytics engineering teams to establish data requirements and guarantee reliable, accurately modeled marketing datasets.
• Present insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through presentations, dashboards, and written reports.
• Contribute to best practices in analytics and modeling, emphasizing code quality, validation, and documentation.
• Provide support to junior team members through informal mentorship, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Keep updated on trends in marketing analytics, experimentation, and applied data science, applying them within Hone’s context.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in Python for data analysis, statistics, and modeling purposes.
• Proficient in SQL with experience in handling production analytics datasets.
• Proven experience in applying data science to marketing or growth challenges, including funnel analysis, experimentation, attribution, or retention modeling.
• Comprehensive understanding of statistical techniques, experimental design, and model evaluation.
• Experience working in cross-functional, agile settings with marketing, product, or business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and collaborative development processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, work autonomously, and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
