
Senior Data Scientist – Health Insurance/Payer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Developing strategic solutions from extensive datasets gathered from diverse sources.
• Structuring and examining the data, interpreting findings, and conveying results to Lucet stakeholders.
• Conducting quantitative analyses, designing behavioral health evaluations, and utilizing advanced statistical techniques to produce actionable insights.
• Maintaining psychometric rigor (reliability, validity, predictive value) and validating models for generalizability and meaningful outcomes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to design research initiatives, gather requirements, and translate discoveries into business and clinical insights.
• Delivering presentations and crafting clear, non-technical reports to communicate findings, limitations, and strategic recommendations.
• Leading and managing data-driven projects, including data cleaning, task delegation, and oversight of analytical workflows.
• Identifying opportunities to utilize insights for business impact.
• Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience as a data scientist.
• At least 5 years of experience with R or Python, with a preference for R.
• More than 5 years of in-depth knowledge of SQL.
• Proficient in machine learning principles and techniques.
• Proven track record of designing and managing data-centric projects.
• Ability to communicate insights in layman's terms to inform business decisions.
• Capacity to cultivate a healthy, engaging work environment that promotes teamwork.

• Ability to pass a background check upon hiring and throughout employment.
