This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead the analytical strategy for the Growth initiative in collaboration with commercial and product leaders.
• Develop churn prediction models that pinpoint underlying causes, assess their financial implications, and guide retention or sales strategies.
• Analyze landlords' unreported portfolios, prioritize expansion prospects, and review call recordings to uncover product opportunities.
• Reconstruct pricing structures, assess elasticity by segment, recommend justifiable fee increases, and prioritize rent reviews based on anticipated value.
• Create Rent Guarantee underwriting models utilizing arrears and collections loss data, incorporating default probabilities, severity, eligibility criteria, and monitoring methods.
• Design growth experiments for tenant offerings, payment processes, upsell strategies, and outreach sequences using control groups, power analyses, and uplift evaluations.
• Manage the Growth data infrastructure, encompassing pipelines from platform databases, payments, communications, call transcripts, and property management tasks.
• Establish the shared metrics framework and create an evaluation harness for LLM extraction.
• Serve as a strategic partner to business and product leadership, formulate independent perspectives, challenge priorities, and deliver analyses that facilitate decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.

• Over 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst / Data Scientist role.
• High degree of autonomy and a comprehensive skill set expected from a Senior Data Analyst.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with the ability to create pipelines using dbt or similar tools.
• Extensive statistical expertise in experimental design, causal inference without randomization, difference-in-differences, matching, synthetic control, survival analysis, and elasticity.
• Practical machine learning experience including churn prediction, uplift modeling, pricing strategies, and straightforward forecasting.
• Familiarity with LLMs applied to unstructured text and audio, including the development of evaluation datasets.
• Capability to interpret backend code and independently retrieve unprocessed data.
• Ability to collaborate with business and product teams, establish independent viewpoints, and provide constructive feedback.
• Preferred: experience in pricing or underwriting financial products such as insurance, guarantees, or credit using loss data.
• Preferred: experience in creating a metrics framework from the ground up and collaborating directly with Managing Directors and agents.
