This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to address strategic product inquiries through reporting, analysis, in-depth investigations, and predictive or prescriptive modeling.
• Anticipate business outcomes and pinpoint opportunities to enhance product performance.
• Establish, maintain, and refine essential product metrics, dashboards, and monitoring frameworks.
• Implement machine learning techniques to analyze customer behavior, engagement, retention, churn, propensity scoring, segmentation, recommendation systems, and personalization projects.
• Assess product launches, feature modifications, and AI-driven initiatives against success metrics and convey recommendations.
• Assist in designing experiments and measurement protocols, including hypothesis formulation, test summaries, and post-launch evaluations.
• Create scalable modeling, reporting, and self-service analytics resources.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to enhance data quality, instrumentation, metric definitions, and the reliability of reporting pipelines.
• Simplify complex findings into clear narratives, presentations, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to AI data initiatives by aiding in model development, feature measurement, and evaluation of customer and business impacts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in data science, product analytics, decision science, or a similar analytics role supporting product teams.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Skilled in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, predictive modeling, and data exploration.
• Experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, and other machine learning frameworks.
• Knowledge of feature engineering, model selection, cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance evaluation.
• Background in developing dashboards and visualizations for executive reporting and product decision-making.
• Strong grasp of product metrics, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis.
• Experience working with large, complex, and multi-source datasets.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings in simple terms and influence stakeholders through data.
• Preferred experience in supporting AI or ML-related product initiatives, model evaluations, or measurement frameworks.
• Experience in sectors such as media, ad tech, mar tech, digital subscriptions, marketplaces, or other product-driven businesses is preferred.
• Background in cloud data environments and best practices for product instrumentation is preferred.
• Experience in highly cross-functional settings with changing priorities is preferred.
• Annual base salary ranging from $115,000 to $120,000.
• Potential for variable compensation.
