This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, validate, and deploy machine learning models throughout the entire data science lifecycle, which includes exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Create advanced analytical solutions for clinical prediction, population health, operational optimization, and research facilitation.
• Develop AI-driven applications utilizing LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines tailored for clinical and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with a variety of healthcare data sources, such as EHRs, claims data, and clinical registries.
• Convert intricate analytical results into practical insights for clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Oversee documentation of best practices and scalable frameworks throughout client engagements.
• Mentor and support client counterparts to maintain and enhance project deliverables.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Strong expertise in Python for data science, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience in building, validating, and deploying machine learning models, encompassing classification, regression, clustering, and time-series forecasting.
• Familiarity with MLOps best practices, including model versioning, CI/CD for machine learning, experiment tracking using MLflow or similar tools, and continuous monitoring.
• Practical experience in creating AI-powered solutions with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based data and machine learning platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with EHR data, claims, HL7/FHIR, and clinical terminologies.
• Background in population health analytics, risk stratification, or social determinants of health.
• Understanding of research facilitation workflows, including cohort identification, clinical trial matching, and outcomes research.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, fine-tuning, or LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Background in revenue cycle management, staffing optimization, or other operational analytics.
• Ability to work remotely and independently from a home office.
• Willingness to travel for onsite meetings and business reviews as needed.
