This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide guidance on both structured and unstructured analytic models to effectively address intricate data challenges with a focus on consistency, reusability, and quality.
• Design, implement, enhance, integrate, maintain, and support IT infrastructure, data, products, solutions, and services.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Product Management, Development, and Research teams to create and apply machine learning algorithms and statistical models.
• Drive the design and implementation of complex data solutions across teams utilizing the Premier methodology.
• Convert prototypes into products, services, and features in collaboration with developers and architects.
• Design, develop, and assess predictive models, machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and advanced algorithms.
• Generate solutions through exploratory analysis of intricate, high-dimensional datasets.
• Act as a subject matter expert across various business domains, including Cost, Clinical, and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Engage in data exploration and conceptual design for strategic initiatives.
• Formulate and test hypotheses while analyzing product experiment outcomes.
• Collect and document business and IT requirements.
• Examine requirements, procedures, and issues to devise solutions and offer recommendations.
• Create features and user stories for product backlogs.
• Conduct impact assessments across applications, integrations, and data warehouses.
• Provide data science expertise, demonstrations, presentations, mentoring, and training.
• Develop project estimates and work plans.
• Identify, develop, review, and refine best practices, standards, procedures, and processes.
• Participate in the review of team member deliverables.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A Master's degree is considered an additional educational qualification.
• Proficiency in probabilistic and predictive statistical models, including multiple regression, t-tests, z-tests, log modeling, Naïve Bayes, and Monte Carlo Simulation using R or Python.
• Familiarity with clinical data, including UB and 1500 claims, HL7, CDA, EHR, and standard healthcare taxonomies.
• Advanced skills in data querying techniques in ad hoc, ETL, and 3-tier application environments.
• Experience with database systems such as Oracle, DB2, Postgres, SQL Server, and Netezza.
• Background in healthcare research utilizing large patient datasets.
• Knowledge in statistical methodology, design and development, data analytics, standardization, consulting, and conflict management.
• Capacity to remain stationary for extended periods.
• Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in operating computer programs and software.
• Effective communication skills, both in-person and electronically.
• Capability to make independent decisions.
• Ability to collaborate closely with peers in a dynamic environment with interruptions.
• Willingness to travel 1-20% within the US.
