Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated Demand Forecasting and Price Optimization models.

• Create and oversee predictive models, manage data pipelines and MLOps processes, and engage in mathematical optimization.

• Work in collaboration with Data Engineering, Backend, and Frontend teams to enhance the solutions.

• Play a key role in the ongoing improvement of analytical platforms, ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of solutions within an AWS environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining Demand Forecasting and Price Optimization models.

• Proficient in managing the entire MLOps lifecycle.

• Skilled in designing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning applications.

• Familiarity with: Pandas, Polars, DuckDB.

• Experience in building models using: XGBoost, LightGBM.

• Competence in mathematical optimization utilizing Gurobi.

• Experience in defining pricing strategies and conducting markdown optimization.

• Comprehensive understanding of the AWS ecosystem (S3, Redshift, Step Functions, EC2, ECS, CloudWatch).

• Proven experience working with complex enterprise codebases, including refactoring, standardization, testing, and implementing code quality best practices.

• Experience in developing and maintaining Time Series Forecasting models.

• Proficient in creating dashboards and analytical tools using: Streamlit, Plotly.

• Good command of English (B2 level).
