This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Facilitate collaboration across various functions to pinpoint and articulate analytic projects, develop strategies, and create solutions that align with business objectives through the effective application of data machine learning models.
• Utilize data science expertise to examine extensive and intricate datasets, uncovering significant patterns that result in actionable insights and data-driven solutions for business challenges.
• Spearhead the creation and implementation of sophisticated machine learning models aimed at predicting outcomes and enhancing workflows.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Create and showcase engaging visualizations and reports to effectively convey analytical discoveries.
• Supervise the upkeep and improvement of data pipelines to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Stay informed about new trends and advancements in the data science and machine learning sectors.
• Skillfully extract, aggregate, and transform data from SQL and NoSQL databases, utilizing programming languages such as R, Python, or other relevant analytical tools.
• Construct, test, and validate statistical and machine learning models and analyses using Python, R, or other suitable languages as part of the overall solution development process.
• Direct the implementation of analytic solutions into reporting platforms or production systems by leading the design, development, testing, and monitoring of solutions.
• Exhibit operational excellence by overseeing, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• At least 6 years of experience in building optimization algorithms or relevant experience.
• Advanced skill level in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Java.
• Proven ability to effectively utilize data visualization tools to communicate insights clearly.
• Extensive experience with data science cloud platforms and their application in business solutions.
• Exceptional intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, collaborative team setting.
• History of quickly acquiring new technical competencies and adapting to innovative technologies.
• Strong communication abilities to convey technical concepts to varied audiences with clarity and professionalism.
• Profound understanding and application of statistical analysis and advanced machine learning methodologies.
• Must have knowledge and proficiency in the fundamental architecture of LLMs (e.g., transformers and attention mechanisms).
• Experience with prompt engineering strategies, including chain-of-thought prompting, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), language model fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with Vector Databases and embeddings.
• Experience with Model Fine-tuning.
• Experience with GPU optimization.
