Senior Data Requirements Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate during the discovery phase of requests with both requesters and business stakeholders.

• Grasp the goals of the request and identify which analytical products will be developed, including dashboards, automations, reports, indicators/metrics, or analytical models.

• Outline indicators, metrics, business rules, and data requirements.

• Create and document functional requirements associated with data ingestion.

• Assist in refining requests alongside the involved teams.

• Partner with functional ingestion analysts, analytics engineering, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure that requirements are unambiguous, comprehensive, and aligned with business objectives.

• Help minimize rework and additional ingestion requests during or following analytical development.

• Aid in organizing and prioritizing the information necessary for more precise data deliveries.

• Proven experience in requirements elicitation and analysis.

• Familiarity with data processes.

• Understanding of conceptual data modeling.

• Capability to convert business needs into functional requirements.

• Experience in documenting business rules, indicators, and metrics.

• Involvement in data ingestion projects.

• Knowledge of BI, dashboards, analytical products, or analytics engineering.

• Experience collaborating with data teams, analytics, data architecture, or data governance.

• Familiarity with demand management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.

• Basic SQL knowledge or an understanding of database structures.

• Experience in corporate settings that integrate business and technology domains.
