This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead analytical initiatives to assess complex data, ensuring its integrity and precision.
• Play an essential role in fostering organizational confidence in reporting and analytics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, data excellence, pricing and analytics, finance, and compliance teams to enhance data quality.
• Proactively query databases, analyze data and dashboards, understand data flow processes, and support the execution of data initiatives.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Excel is essential; familiarity with or experience in Snowflake and Python is preferred.
• Possess a strong analytical mindset, investigative skills, and remarkable attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Inquisitive and tenacious in uncovering the “why” behind data discrepancies.
• Comfortable navigating a startup atmosphere, thriving in fast-paced and uncertain conditions.
• Knowledge of the insurance domain is advantageous but not mandatory.
