• Design and deploy networks, including LANs, WANs, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks, tailored to meet the operational requirements of our clients.
• Conduct network assessments to identify potential enhancements and propose solutions aligned with project goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues encountered during the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to manage network-related tasks.
• Engage in IT infrastructure projects, providing technical expertise and support to project teams.
• Document network infrastructure and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed on the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the network infrastructure is both current and effective.
• Coordinate activities with third-party entities (such as network providers and cabling vendors) in accordance with organizational protocols.
• Conduct site readiness assessments and equipment staging as necessary.
• Inspect, inventory, and track products within the scope purchased by the organization.
• Order equipment following organizational guidelines.
• Inform the Project Manager of any issues with received products (e.g., shipping damage, incorrect items, etc.).
• Stage, configure, and test products as outlined in implementation processes and procedures.
• Install, configure, and test equipment as necessary.
• Provide post-installation problem resolution in line with the defined implementation procedures.
• Replace defective equipment according to organizational RMA guidelines.
• Offer first-day-of-business support for facility openings and relocations until the site is officially handed over to operational teams.
• Prepare for and engage in design reviews.
• Update relevant tools within the project's scope as needed.
• Capture and archive images of the installed equipment, racks, and cabling when time allows and as necessary.
• Prepare turnover documentation as required and update records for asset tracking.
• Report exceptions promptly after they occur.
• Carry out the physical decommissioning of outdated equipment.
• Provide guidance to local on-site contacts when necessary and appropriate.
• Update cookbooks based on project insights and experiences.
• Conduct root cause analyses and contribute to post-incident reviews for P1/P2 incidents.
• Offer advice on issues and collaborate to resolve any challenges that arise during project implementation.
• Attend team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures related to change management, security, and compliance.
• Escalate issues and concerns to relevant organizational contacts promptly.
• Communicate with stakeholders and end-users as necessary to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with the services rendered.
• Maintain current documentation related to projects and tasks, including network diagrams, device configurations, and system documentation.
• Complete required training as determined by the organization.
• Collaborate with other teams and engineers as necessary to deliver comprehensive solutions to organizational needs.
• Seek opportunities for process improvement and propose ideas for consideration and implementation.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives such as peer reviews and mentoring programs to enhance team expertise.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• CCNP or similar certification through experience is advantageous.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, QoS, WLAN, and associated technologies.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs.
• Availability to travel for network deployment activities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
