Senior Data Engineering Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct AS-IS analysis of the Oracle environment, including existing reports, queries, procedures, tables, and views.

• Document and map source data for integration into Databricks.

• Maintain data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.

• Design and create new tables and views in the Data Lake with an emphasis on performance and governance.

• Work closely with business teams to confirm transformation rules and logic.

• Gradually reduce BI reliance on Oracle by transitioning to the Databricks environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, notebooks, clusters, and Unity Catalog.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, particularly in Oracle and analytical environments.

• Proven experience in migrating legacy data environments.

• Familiarity with data modeling concepts, specifically Data Lake and Data Lakehouse.

• Understanding of Data Quality processes and data validation techniques.

• Experience in diverse environments involving multiple data sources.

• Knowledge of Apache Spark, particularly PySpark.

• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Airflow and Azure Data Factory.

• Background in data governance initiatives.

• Relevant Databricks certifications.
