Senior Data Engineer - Marketing Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test enterprise MarTech platforms for data engineering utilizing SQL and Azure Data engineering skills, including Azure Data Factory and Databricks/Fabric technologies.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Azure-based cloud technologies to address data requirements, while engaging in marketing projects such as Adobe Experience Platform and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

• Utilize state-of-the-art data technologies, programming languages, and industry-standard coding practices to innovate new features and enhance existing product/marketing functionalities.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components.

• Create and execute unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and efficiently resolve defects.

• Collaborate with Product teams, architects, and cross-functional teams to align on requirements and implementation strategies.

• Translate business and functional requirements into precise technical specifications and product deliverables.

• Engage in technical design discussions and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

• Document system architecture, design methodologies, and development processes for future reference.

• Develop and maintain unit test plans and alpha test plans to facilitate product validation.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously enhance design, development, and deployment practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of five years of recent experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code with skills in SQL and Azure Data engineering, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and/or Fabric technologies.

• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server databases, along with expertise in data analysis and data integrations.

• Proficient in AI technologies to enhance daily activities.

• Well-developed troubleshooting skills at various levels of complexity.
