Senior Data Engineer – Data & AI Factory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of the Data & AI Factory team, assisting customers with their data operations and AI initiatives.

• Engage in the design, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data pipelines, models, and transformations.

• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data observability solutions aimed at enhancing data quality.

• Transform data into valuable business insights by preparing customized solutions tailored for each client.

• Serve as a trusted mentor to junior team members.

• Set a positive example through leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline / equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with GO programming language.

• Strong knowledge of DBT.

• Expertise in SQL.

• Competence in Power BI.

• Some experience with Vertex AI and Dataiku (certification is a significant advantage).

• Experience programming within Agile methodologies and adhering to ITIL best practices.

• Understanding of database and data analysis technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse design, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Relevant experience with GCP data products and services.

• Some familiarity with job orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).

• Some experience with data ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte).

• Some experience in Hadoop and with platforms like Apache Spark, Pig, or Hive.

• Fluency in English.
