Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in comprehending business requirements to ensure the delivery of value;

• Architect solutions and assess available technologies to effectively tackle challenges;

• Develop data pipelines to promote data accessibility within a Data Mesh framework;

• Integrate architecture and technology to create and provide reusable components like connectors, APIs, SDKs, and CLIs;

• Automate and test all feasible processes;

• Assess and refine components based on user input;

• Collaborate to enhance product quality and foster technological advancements in the workplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with large-scale data processing, including parallel and distributed processing (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.);

• Proficient in AWS Data & Analytics services (Glue, EMR, Athena, QuickSight);

• Skilled in Python programming;

• Strong understanding of essential AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway);

• Practical experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (document and key-value stores);

• Solid grasp of DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CodePipeline, etc.).
