Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable and dependable data pipelines.

• Integrate large and intricate data sets that fulfill both functional and non-functional business requirements.

• Proficient in database management strategies, including logical data modeling, physical database optimization, and security measures.

• Continuously enhance the integrity of data pipelines by establishing Data Quality checks to ensure a comprehensive data service.

• Collaborate with Data and Analytics professionals to enhance the functionality of our data systems.

• Experience in providing On-Call support to resolve user issues based on their severity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in engineering and operationalizing data pipelines with extensive and complex datasets.

• More than 3 years of experience working with unstructured data formats such as JSON.

• Significant experience in advanced SQL.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python/PySpark.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience transforming data using Databricks.

• Over 3 years of experience working with AWS.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
