This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain our data model, data pipelines, and data access layer to enhance our care delivery, operations, and analytics in partnership with the data platform team.
• Ensure data integrity and governance by implementing practices that establish our data as reliable and usable for all stakeholders, including clinicians and operators.
• Supervise and enhance data infrastructure: identify issues, boost system performance, and promote efficiency through automation and process improvements.
• Provide technical leadership: review code and establish engineering best practices across the team.
• Maintain a strategic perspective: design current infrastructure with future requirements in mind.
• Contribute where business demands are greatest: engage across the stack, from backend data engineering to occasional involvement in frontend applications that bring data to life.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: engage with product managers, analytics, operations, and care delivery stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Over 4 years of professional experience in data engineering and software architecture delivering production-level code, ideally within healthcare services.
• Proficient programming skills (Python, Pyspark, or similar) with demonstrated experience in creating and scaling reusable, testable, and maintainable data pipelines.
• Experience in designing and optimizing data models, data warehouses, and/or lakehouses.
• Familiarity with contemporary data platforms and cloud ecosystems (e.g., Palantir Foundry, DBT, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proven history of ensuring data quality, governance, and reliability.
• Capability to balance high-level architectural considerations with practical implementation.
