This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, manage, and execute intricate SQL queries for effective data management and validation.
• Exhibit subject matter expertise concerning data mapping, transformations, validations, and ingestion workflows.
• Oversee data processes, analyze data trends, and identify any anomalies or issues.
• Promptly report any issues related to data quality or interruptions in processes, adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Configure production solutions and services as required.
• Act as a change agent to pinpoint organizational enhancements and propose recommendations to refine business processes.
• Generate and update Standard Operating Procedure documents.
• Mentor and train new team members as necessary.
• Engage in meetings with clients and/or stakeholders.
• Diagnose issues and offer recommendations for resolution.
• Utilize sound judgment in choosing methods and techniques to achieve solutions.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Participate in customer testing as needed for new technologies or modifications to existing systems.
• Provide after-hours or weekend support when required.
• Demonstrate the capability to work autonomously.
• Comply with all industry and organizational compliance rules and regulations to uphold data integrity.
• Fulfill task assignments using departmental ticketing/productivity systems within the specified deadlines.
• Accomplish organizational and individual objectives as outlined in performance reviews and goal-setting activities.
• Complete all special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of practical knowledge in big data/cloud technologies (Databricks, AWS, Azure, Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake, etc.).
• Proficient in implementing data pipelines utilizing data engineering best practices in SQL, Spark, and Scala, with experience in a Databricks environment being advantageous.
• More than 8 years of experience in data analysis.
• Preferably experienced in the Healthcare sector, specifically in enrollment, medical claims, and/or pharmacy claims.
• Any Databricks/AWS certifications are highly regarded.
• Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Databricks Workflows).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
