📋 Description

• Directs the creation and execution of comprehensive, organization-wide data architecture frameworks that guarantee consistency, scalability, and alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization.

• Manages data architecture initiatives across various business units, ensuring the smooth design and delivery of intricate data solutions that meet enterprise requirements.

• Conducts architecture assessments to ensure that solutions comply with scalability, security, performance, and reusability standards throughout the organization.

• Develops and sustains a forward-looking data architecture vision and roadmap that aligns with the organization's long-term business strategy and digital transformation ambitions.

• Supervises enterprise-level data integration projects, ensuring that data from various, diverse sources is unified into a cohesive architecture that supports business intelligence and advanced analytics.

• Provides technical guidance for data architecture, ensuring that advanced data modeling, storage, and integration practices follow industry best practices and organizational standards.

• Integrates data governance principles into architectural decisions, ensuring compliance with organizational data management policies.

• Establishes and maintains data quality standards, including processes for data cleaning, validation, and monitoring.

• Ensures implementation of data security measures, such as access control and encryption, for sensitive information.

• Acts as the primary point of contact for executive leadership regarding data architecture strategy, presenting strategic recommendations and influencing key decisions for enterprise data initiatives.

• Converts complex technical and architectural ideas into clear, business-relevant insights, ensuring alignment between data strategies and overall business goals.

• Fosters and develops relationships with executive leadership, IT, and business unit leaders to advocate for the data architecture strategy across the organization.

• Influences the future direction of the organization's data architecture by staying updated on emerging technologies, assessing their potential adoption, and leading the execution of future-state architectures.

• Develops comprehensive knowledge of AI/Gen-AI impacts on data engineering and management capabilities, collaborating with the AI/Innovation team to implement the most relevant AI-led interventions for data teams.

• Assesses new tools, platforms, and systems that could enhance the company's data infrastructure, collaborating with executive leadership to foster innovation and ensure competitiveness through cutting-edge technologies and data practices.

• Advocates for proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies and data solutions that align with the organization's strategic vision.

• Provides mentorship and leadership to data architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams, nurturing talent and ensuring high-quality architecture solutions.

• Guides cross-functional teams in the design and delivery of data architecture solutions, ensuring timely execution and compliance with enterprise standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience.

• Over 10 years of overall experience in technology, including at least 8 years in enterprise data architecture and/or data strategy.

• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale data architecture projects within complex, enterprise environments.

• Extensive expertise in the design and implementation of modern data architectures and concepts such as cloud services (MS-Fabric, Azure, AWS, GCP), real-time data distribution solutions, and modern data platform tools (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

• Profound experience with cloud platforms like MS-Fabric, Azure, and Snowflake, along with tools such as Data Factory, Power BI, and Copilot.

• Comprehensive knowledge of data governance frameworks, data security standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

• Proficiency in architecting solutions that span diverse platforms and technologies, ensuring data scalability and efficiency.

• Mastery in data modeling and data modeling tools, data integration platforms, and metadata management systems.

• Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities, evidenced by experience in driving enterprise-wide data architecture initiatives.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing and engaging senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to translate technical architecture decisions into business outcomes and foster consensus across departments.
