This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain insights into business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
• Collect, document, and clarify business requirements, transforming them into analytical solutions.
• Drive initiatives for defining KPIs, metrics, and success criteria for business projects.
• Aid in process enhancement efforts by identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
• Create business requirement documents, user stories, process flows, and presentations.
• Extract, cleanse, and analyze data from various sources to address business inquiries.
• Design and sustain dashboards, scorecards, and regular reports utilizing tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Track business and operational performance metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Conduct root-cause analyses to facilitate decision-making and resolve issues.
• Clearly present findings and recommendations in a manner that is accessible to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, product owners, technology teams, and operations partners.
• Engage in project meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Assist in the implementation and adoption of data-driven solutions.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and analytical findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and investigate any data quality concerns.
• Document definitions of metrics, business rules, and reporting logic.
• Support data governance initiatives, ensuring consistency across reporting solutions.
• 5-10 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, reporting, or a similar field.
• Basic SQL proficiency for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with Excel and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to convert data into valuable business insights.
• Preferred experience with Python, R, or other analytical tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Solid foundation in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Experience in creating dashboards and executive-level reporting.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding of data modeling, databases, or cloud analytics platforms.
