Senior Data Analyst, Strategic Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the audit, cleanup, and architecture of the Operations data segment within our shared BigQuery warehouse.

• Develop and manage dimensional models in dbt, ensuring testing, lineage, and version control are in place.

• Create and sustain dashboards and metrics that provide leadership with real-time insights into operational health.

• Integrate operational data with GTM and financial data to address crucial questions about service quality and costs.

• Collaborate with the team on statistical process control, variance analysis, and root cause analytics.

• Set standards for SQL, modeling, and analytics engineering that the Strategic Operations team can scale on.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or analytics engineering within a B2B SaaS or fintech organization.

• Advanced SQL skills with practical experience using dbt in a modern data warehouse, preferably BigQuery and Metabase.

• A proven history of leading data cleanup initiatives or re-architecting data warehouses.

• Strong instincts for data quality: you prioritize testing frameworks, lineage, documentation, and git-based workflows as integral to your work.

• Demonstrated ability to transform ambiguous operational questions into structured, measurable analyses that influence decision-making.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• A proactive mindset capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
