Senior Data Analyst I, Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the strategic roadmap, data architecture, and analytical execution for the Marketing sector.

• Assume complete responsibility for the Marketing data reporting layer, outlining and implementing a multi-quarter technical roadmap that aligns seamlessly with Alma's growth OKRs.

• Create and refine essential Marketing data models using dbt, transitioning the organization from isolated reporting to a cohesive, full-funnel "source of truth".

• Equip Marketing stakeholders with automated, high-accuracy pacing models and diagnostic tools that minimize manual processes and enhance media-spend optimization.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Growth Marketing and Data Engineering, establishing the requirements for downstream identity resolution and MarTech API integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in strategic data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering, with a demonstrated history of supporting high-growth Growth or Performance Marketing teams.

• Advanced SQL expertise along with substantial, hands-on experience in structuring core warehouse schemas using dbt.

• Profound understanding of the complexities within digital marketing data ecosystems (e.g., ad platforms, event tracking, lifecycle platforms).

• Skilled in simplifying complex technical or analytical concepts into structured frameworks and actionable insights for both executive and non-technical audiences.

• Regularly utilize and integrate AI-powered tools into your daily workflow to enhance technical efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
