Senior Data Analyst – Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic business partner to identify organizational challenges and establish performance indicators that align with business priorities.

• Transform business needs into analytical solutions, which include semantic models, standardized datasets, dashboards, and advanced analytics.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI architecture, encompassing star schema modeling, advanced DAX, security measures, deployment, and incremental refresh.

• Improve data workflows utilizing SQL and Google BigQuery.

• Employ Python for advanced analytics and automation tasks.

• Set business intelligence development standards and document solutions to guarantee quality and sustainability.

• Strategically plan and prioritize business intelligence initiatives based on their value to the organization.

• Ensure the quality, timely delivery, and strategic alignment of project deliverables.

• Engage regularly with internal clients across Canada.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a similar field.

• At least five years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence in a corporate setting.

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, with skills in star schema modeling, advanced DAX, security, and deployment.

• Excellent command of SQL.

• Familiarity with Google BigQuery.

• Solid skills in Python for advanced analytics and automation purposes.

• Capability to understand business challenges and convert requirements into structured analytical solutions.

• Exceptional spoken and written communication skills in both French and English.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal clients throughout Canada.
