Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a qualified individual with a higher education degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent degree accompanied by postgraduate studies in the IT domain.

• The ideal applicant should possess hands-on experience with DBMS and SQL, practical exposure to multidimensional DBMS, knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and an understanding of data structures along with the content of analytical data sources (such as data warehouses and data marts). Additionally, a general understanding of Business Intelligence, strong analytical capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Power BI are essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• A higher education degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; or a higher education degree with postgraduate studies in the IT sector.

• Solid understanding of DBMS and SQL.

• Practical experience with multidimensional DBMS.

• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Knowledge of data structures and the contents of analytical data sources (such as data warehouses and data marts).

• General understanding of Business Intelligence.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.

• Understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).

• Knowledge of contemporary data architectures (e.g., Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Medallion architecture).

• Awareness of information security and data privacy best practices (e.g., LGPD, GDPR).

• Familiarity with data governance concepts and pillars (e.g., quality, roles, policies, metadata, security, and privacy).

• Experience with data cataloging tools to enhance data discovery, governance, and usage.

• Excellent communication skills, systems thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
