This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the primary senior analytics contact for the Product, Commercial, Customer, and Revenue teams, collaborating with your manager to prioritize, triage, and address requests.
• Help define, prioritize, and organize your own tasks and those of junior team members, based on business value, strategic significance, and available capacity, escalating prioritization conflicts to your manager as necessary.
• Balance immediate operational requirements with long-term, scalable insights, focusing efforts on work that yields the greatest impact.
• Produce actionable, data-driven insights regarding product performance and customer behavior, connecting feature usage to retention, growth, recall effectiveness, and commercial results, while effectively communicating product value to aid strategic decision-making and legacy platform migration.
• Contribute to the advancement of product and commercial experimentation as well as causal analysis methodologies in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and the broader Data & AI team.
• Assist in delivering well-structured experiment frameworks by framing strong hypotheses, selecting appropriate metrics, and conducting thorough post-test analyses, employing advanced analytical techniques (e.g., causal analysis, forecasting, segmentation) to derive insights, foster learning, and mitigate risks in product and commercial decisions.
• Ensure the continuity of essential customer and commercial analytics workflows under your responsibility.
• Identify chances to streamline, automate, or develop self-service legacy reporting and insights over time using AI and automation strategies.
• Decrease dependency on manual or low-value analytics tasks, redirecting efforts towards scalable, high-impact insights.
• Actively engage in day-to-day analytics tasks, writing SQL and/or Python to create analytical models and provide insights while contributing to the team's codebase.
• Design and implement advanced analyses, including churn and risk modeling, forecasting, and performance deep dives.
• Ensure the quality of your analytical outputs by verifying accuracy, clarity, and relevance, and conduct peer reviews of other analysts’ work as the team expands.
• Function as a senior technical contributor and role model within the analytics team, enhancing analytical thinking, delivery discipline, and stakeholder engagement.
• Share expertise and assist junior analysts through technical guidance, code review, intellectual property sharing, and informal coaching as the team grows.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative culture that aligns with the values of Henry Schein One.
• Proven track record as a Senior Data Analyst (or equivalent) with significant ownership and autonomy over your own workstreams.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver high-impact insights across product, commercial, and customer sectors, with experience prioritizing and executing analytics work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus but not mandatory.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python, with the confidence to work with large, complex datasets.
• Strong analytical modeling abilities, including forecasting, client segmentation, and risk or churn analysis.
• Experience with modern analytics engineering concepts, including dbt or similar tools.
• Familiarity with commercial and product experimentation, A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, causal analysis, and assessment of product and commercial initiatives.
• Comfortable working within cloud-based analytics environments; familiarity with AWS analytics or machine learning services is advantageous but not required.
• Strong commercial acumen, with a clear emphasis on ROI, value creation, and gradual value delivery.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of translating complex analyses into clear, persuasive insights that guide business decisions.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and concentrate efforts on initiatives that yield the greatest impact.
• Occasional travel for company offsites, workshops, or collaborative sessions.
