Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, analysis, and execution of cybersecurity frameworks that comply with EU regulations and certification standards.

• Aid in the security evaluations of ICT products and services within frameworks such as Common Criteria and EU cybersecurity certification schemes.

• Conduct risk assessments in accordance with standards such as ISO/IEC 27005 and contribute to security assurance processes.

• Offer expertise on the EU regulatory environment, including the Cybersecurity Act, NIS2, CRA, DORA, and eIDAS 2.0.

• Engage in or lead technical workstreams pertaining to cloud security (EUCS), managed security services (EU MSS), and digital identity frameworks (EUDI Wallet).

• Assist in security assessments related to telecommunications and critical infrastructure, including EU 5G initiatives.

• Create high-quality technical documentation, reports, and assessments for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and standardization groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 8+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with significant involvement in regulatory and certification environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of ISO/IEC 15408 and ISO/IEC 18045, including EUCC and SOG-IS, as well as EU cybersecurity domains: EUCS, EU MSS, EUDI Wallet, EU 5G security, and ICT product security certification schemes.

• Experience in a leadership role within a team setting.

• Strong technical writing abilities, with a background in preparing reports and assessments.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Proficient in English (minimum C1 level, both written and spoken).
