Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• You will be assigned to carry out scripting and automation tasks related to Information Security.

• You will perform security evaluations of new tools, applications, and systems.

• You will handle and manage requests for various security services such as URL Filtering, Privileged Account Management, DLP, and Firewall Rule Review.

• You will assist or lead in the design and deployment of security infrastructure including DLP, SWG, UBA, EDR, SIEM, MDM, NAC, etc.

• You will support or lead security infrastructure initiatives and manage security systems.

• You will provide security consulting and promote the adoption of best security practices.

• You may, if necessary, assist with third-party penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and drive remediation efforts.

• You may, if necessary, support incident response and threat containment efforts.

• You may assist with information security and data privacy compliance audits and related activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a BS/MS in computer science/engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• You have over 2.5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or security engineering.

• You have a broad knowledge base across various security infrastructures: FW, EDR, SIEM, DLP, Email Gateway, PAM.

• You have the ability to develop technical depth and expert knowledge in specific areas as required.

• You are willing to work US, EMEA, or APAC hours following a sustainable rotation schedule.

• You have the ability to create scripts in languages such as Python, PowerShell, etc.

• You have demonstrated success in influencing peers and partners without direct authority.

• You possess strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts both verbally and in written documentation.
