Senior Cybersecurity, Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy Zero Trust security architectures within hybrid and multi-cloud settings (GCP, Azure, AWS), incorporating Kubernetes.

• Establish and synchronize security strategies with both business and technological aims.

• Design and implement cloud security measures encompassing identity, network, workload, and data protection.

• Recognize, evaluate, and convey security risks and emerging threats.

• Direct security architecture for IT and cloud initiatives, balancing business requirements, security, and compliance mandates.

• Work in partnership with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate security into CI/CD workflows and cloud-native implementations.

• Manage vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and security audits.

• Ensure adherence to applicable security standards and frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Security Architect or Cloud Security Engineer.

• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.

• Practical experience in securing cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).

• Background in IAM, network, endpoint, application, and container security.

• Acquainted with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIS 2.

• Outstanding analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
