Senior Cybersecurity, Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement Zero Trust security frameworks within hybrid and multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS), including Kubernetes.

• Establish and synchronize security strategies with both business and technology goals.

• Design and enforce cloud security measures that encompass identity, network, workloads, and data protection.

• Identify, evaluate, and communicate security vulnerabilities and emerging threats.

• Spearhead security architecture initiatives for IT and cloud projects, balancing business requirements, security, and compliance.

• Work in partnership with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate security into CI/CD processes and cloud-native implementations.

• Supervise vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and security audits.

• Ensure adherence to applicable security standards and frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Security Architect or Cloud Security Engineer.

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.

• Practical experience securing cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).

• Proficient in IAM, networking, endpoint security, application security, and container security.

• Awareness of standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIS 2.

• Outstanding analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
