Senior CVML Engineer, Autonomy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop production models by designing, training, and deploying robust deep learning models for essential perception tasks.

• Implement advanced Edge optimization techniques, including fine-tuning models for real-time inference on embedded NVIDIA GPU platforms.

• Manage the model development lifecycle from rapid prototyping to validation and final deployment.

• Work closely with the robotics team to incorporate perception outputs into the robotics framework.

• Evaluate performance using mowing site data, identify areas of failure, and continuously enhance models.

• Create strategies to utilize both real and synthetic data for model training and performance validation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with a preference for a graduate degree.

• Over 5 years of post-academic experience in building and deploying production vision models on real-time embedded systems.

• Practical experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch is preferred) and a solid understanding of contemporary computer vision architectures.

• Demonstrated success in advancing models through optimization pipelines, with strong expertise in TensorRT, NVIDIA ModelOpt, and ONNX runtime.

• Proficient in Python programming for model development and possess a strong command of C++ for performance-critical coding.
