This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Manage the daily client relationship involving both brand and agency stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain stakeholder maps while intentionally cultivating relationships.
• Track account performance and analyze discrepancies between client and internal viewpoints.
• Formulate account growth strategies that include the account thesis, stakeholder map, revenue goals, and specific actions.
• Identify, shape, and pursue additional budget and expansion opportunities in collaboration with Sales.
• Transform successful campaigns into proof points and case studies.
• Challenge client requests that do not align with the overarching business objectives and propose more effective alternatives.
• Own the performance narrative, covering pacing, optimization strategies, post-campaign insights, and recommendations.
• Ensure timely campaign launches by coordinating with team members and addressing launch risks or troubleshooting needs.
• Forward client feedback, roadmap requirements, and account challenges to Chalice.
• Set account direction independently and contribute to the ongoing evolution of account planning and closing processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Data Science, Product, and Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, or ad operations with a strong focus on client interaction, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing a designated portfolio of strategic or enterprise accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior client and agency stakeholders at the director level and higher.
• Experience in redirecting briefs or advising clients against ineffective strategies.
• Ability to identify and shape opportunities for expansion.
• Experience in proactively managing accounts and establishing the agenda.
• Strong understanding of DSPs, including The Trade Desk and DV360.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
• Knowledge of SSPs, DMPs, identity management, measurement, auction dynamics, and the broader programmatic landscape.
• Proficient in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools like Superset or Tableau.
• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts in clear, actionable terms.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
