Senior Credit Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate Commercial Credit Applications to aid in the identification of potential application fraud by customers, bankers, or third parties.

• Collaborate with business segments to mentor and promote behaviors that foster self-sufficient risk management and compliance responsibilities.

• Provide guidance to the business on suitable tools, methodologies, and frameworks for risk mitigation and proactive risk oversight.

• Offer insights on opportunities to improve business process design, robustness, and compliance.

• Leverage business knowledge and insights to suggest prioritization of investments, interventions, and improvements aimed at risk reduction.

• Assist in the implementation of business strategy by providing advice on strengths, weaknesses, and enhancements.

• Foster a proactive risk and control culture within the organization.

• Play a role in the detection and prevention of Commercial Credit application fraud within Business Banking, including educating stakeholders about fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• A curious mindset paired with strong attention to detail.

• Comprehensive understanding of CBA’s business lending procedures.

• Background in Small Business Banking (SBB), Commercial Banking (CB), or Regional & Agribusiness (RAB).

• Familiarity with CBA’s Commercial Lending systems – CCL & BizExpress is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to analyze and identify risks and opportunities, and suggest suitable actions.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Proactively identify, comprehend, discuss, and address current and future risks.
