Interface Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of CACI’s Financial Management Business Transformation Interface and Data Conversion Team, providing support to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

• Assist in the implementation of financial system interfaces and the migration of legacy data to Momentum Financials.

• Take the lead in gathering requirements from end-users for interface, data conversion, and data cleansing activities.

• Perform design reviews, set acceptance criteria, comprehend business processes, and create process maps.

• Offer functional support and document requirements, detailed design specifications, data conversion and cleansing plans, interface control documents, and user stories.

• Analyze data from legacy and target systems and carry out reconciliation activities.

• Coordinate development efforts to ensure that interface and data conversion decisions meet requirements, expectations, and regulations.

• Collaborate with programmers, database administrators, and other technical specialists.

• Work alongside interface and business analysts to grasp organizational processes and legacy data.

• Build expertise in COTS tools, Federal financial management processes, and ERP implementation best practices.

• Create test scenarios and documentation, and conduct validation testing.

• Monitor, track, and troubleshoot application operations and data, collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues.

• Develop training materials and provide training to end users.

• Implement quality assurance standards, validation and verification processes, and software development best practices.

• Identify and enact process improvement initiatives.

• May oversee and mentor junior resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be accepted in place of education.

• Must be capable of passing a Tier 2 MBI background investigation.

• Experience in supporting the development of interfaces and/or large-scale data conversions.

• Familiarity with the Momentum Financials front-end and database.

• Background as a business systems/interface analyst.

• Experience with Momentum Financials or comparable COTS financial ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to address problems.

• Capacity to efficiently manage multiple shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines.

• Willingness to work the necessary hours to meet tight deadlines.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies is preferred.

• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL statements is a plus.
