This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for allowance calculations related to loss assessments for pre-credit reform loans, debt reduction funds, PL-480, GSM, and associated loan portfolios.

• Retrieve, validate, reconcile, and analyze loan receivable data from various feeder systems, accounting systems, and other financial information sources.

• Prepare and reconcile input files for cash flow models, ensuring model outputs are validated against the general ledger, source systems, and OMB CSC2 results.

• Assist with NPV calculations using agreement numbers, cohort years, Treasury rates, ICRAS grades, country default rates, unpaid installments, and other model assumptions.

• Collect, reconcile, and verify data that supports federal credit reform re-estimates and subsidy calculations.

• Maintain historical data on loan performance, including payments, prepayments, delinquencies, defaults, recoveries, and write-offs.

• Document model assumptions, reconciliation outcomes, corrective measures, and audit-ready workpapers that support allowance and re-estimation processes.

• Analyze non-performing loan portfolios, reserve requirements, default trends, and strategies for write-offs.

• Aid in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for allowance models, cash flow modeling, and re-estimation processes.

• Work collaboratively with accounting, financial reporting, and program stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and adherence to federal financial management standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience in supporting credit modeling, loan accounting, financial analysis, and intricate financial data reconciliations.

• At least 3 years of experience in preparing and reconciling financial models, conducting cash flow analyses, and aligning model inputs/outputs with source systems and general ledger balances.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing advanced Excel for analyzing complex datasets and preparing technical documentation, workpapers, and financial reports.
