This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Ensure precise and timely data entry along with quality checks on cash receipts, including assistance with cleansing and mass change processing projects.
• Process and send standard letters and emails as required.
• Uphold exceptional service standards and key performance indicators (KPIs), while keeping relevant data up to date.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to efficiently address queries.
• Oversee the debt process, reconcile broker account discrepancies, disburse cash, and recover overdue debts.
• Follow up on remittances to ensure prompt cash allocation.
• Distribute monthly statements of overdue accounts to clients, swiftly resolving inquiries with senior colleagues.
• Issue monthly dunning letters to remind clients and brokers of overdue payments.
• Examine aging reports and allocate portfolios for clarity.
• Identify and assign unallocated cash.
• Manage robotic process automation (RPA) to assist business functions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, tax, corporate, and other requirements.
• Aid compliance checks within the credit control team and specialize in systems such as I90, Merlin, Magic, and MI.
• A graduate or hold a professional qualification in finance-related fields such as credit control, finance, or administrative functions.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an enjoyment of teamwork.
• A positive mindset, results-oriented, with the energy and determination to thrive in a fast-paced environment where response speed and quality are crucial.
• Strong writing and editing abilities with a keen attention to detail; capable of producing high-quality work under pressure and prioritizing workload to meet tight deadlines.
• Patient and respectful towards clients while being professionally assertive in debt recovery.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
