This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ You will serve as the final checkpoint for outbound creative materials β including copy decks, scripts, captions, and assets β prior to client delivery or publication.
β’ The initial focus will be on our Tier 1, high-compliance accounts, beginning with NutriMax.
β’ You will collaborate with Valen to establish a tiered client framework (low, medium, high compliance) and enforce strict claim-checking on regulated projects β such as pet health, supplements, and other areas where the distinction between "supports" and "cures" is not merely semantic, but legal.
β’ You will manage claim libraries, do-not-say lists, and approved phrase banks for each Tier 1 brand.
β’ Brand standards will also be your responsibility. This includes checking logos, colors, typography, and tone of voice against each client's guidelines, rather than relying on memory.
β’ You will ensure that brand standards summaries are consistently updated for the top accounts, providing the studio with a single reference point instead of multiple sources.
β’ Subsequently, you will develop a systematic approach. This includes creating checklists, review templates, SOPs, and pre-flight checks categorized by output type.
β’ Quality assurance will transition from being an individual task to a scalable process within the agency.
β’ You will monitor error trends, report findings to leadership on a monthly basis, and propose workflow modifications that minimize revision cycles before they escalate into issues.
β’ Your collaboration will span across creative, strategy, account management, and project management β acting as a calm and constructive presence who identifies challenges early without causing delays.
β’ As workload increases, you will assist in mentoring junior QA personnel or proofreaders, and outline what the QA support structure should look like once justified by workload demands.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience in QA, proofreading, or compliance within an agency, regulated sector, or high-volume creative setting.
β’ Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to at least one compliance-sensitive category (such as FDA, FTC, pet health, supplements, finance, or similar).
β’ A keen eye for brand standards β including logos, colors, typography, and tone of voice β across multiple clients managed concurrently.
β’ Strong understanding of platform specifications for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and the various static and video formats they support.
β’ Proven capability to create processes from the ground up: including SOPs, checklists, review templates, and claim libraries.
β’ Ability to manage high volume and tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
β’ Effective and constructive communicator β able to address issues without hindering workflow or putting team members on the defensive.
β’ Highly organized and systematic, capable of keeping multiple Tier 1 accounts in mind simultaneously.
